| Description | Role & responsibilities We are looking for a backend developer with minimum 2 years of experience who is comfortable building production-ready services and APIs. You will work on scalable systems in a microservices-based environment and contribute to feature development, performance improvements, and system reliability. Key Responsibilities Feature Development: Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js (NestJS) or Golang. API Design: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend and third-party systems. Performance Optimization: Debug performance issues and contribute to improving system efficiency. Microservices: Work within a microservices-based architecture and contribute to service-to-service integrations. Database Management: Write optimized queries for relational (MySQL/MariaDB) databases; implement caching strategies (e.g., Redis) Collaboration: Participate in peer code reviews and collaborate with DevOps teams for deployments using Docker. Exposure to Kubernetes is a plus. Testing: Write unit/integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability. Preferred candidate profile Core Tech: 2+ years of professional experience in Backend Development using Node.js (preferably with TypeScript/NestJS) OR Golang. Databases: Good working knowledge of SQL and database design concepts. Architecture: Understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming, and basic microservices concepts. Cloud & Tooling: Exposure to Kubernetes and AWS is a plus, but not mandatory. Version Control: Comfortable working with Git and familiar with CI/CD concepts. Soft Skills: A problem-solving mindset and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly. |
