| Description | Roles and Responsibilities Perform role of Head for Engineering , Maintenance & Projects department for Pharma API Bulk Drug Plant Manage maintenance, utility and projects from conceptualization to commissioning, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards. Managing and ensuring smooth functioning of maintenance engineering activities, including breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and predictive maintenance. Perform pivotal role with rolling out documentation, troubleshooting, validation & qualification, etc. activities. Ensure effective utility management by optimizing energy consumption, reducing costs, and minimizing downtime. Lead mechanical, instrumentation, electrical & civil engineering initiatives to improve process control systems' efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for plant expansion planning, infrastructure development, and equipment installation. Oversee engineering projects from conceptualization to commissioning, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards. Manage project teams, providing guidance on technical aspects, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects. Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental norms, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle. Desired Candidate Profile 20-25 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field with expertise in instrumentation engineering, maintenance engineering, plant engineering, project engineering, troubleshooting etc. . Bachelor of Technology / Bachelor of Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from reputed institute . Strong leadership qualities are desirable. Leading and managing team size of 70-100 people Sound awareness of cGMP and Quality Management Documentation. Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish with minimal errors or defects. . Strong understanding of industrial automation principles, electrical engineering concepts, civil engineering practices, plant engineering methodologies. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale industrial projects from start to finish. . Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles applied to industrial settings. . Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. |
