We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts and Finance Associate to join our growing finance team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the accounting

department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, assisting with month-end closures, and helping maintain statutory compliances. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or a junior professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate finance, taxation, and accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Compliance & Taxation: Assist in the calculation, data preparation, and
filing of monthly/quarterly returns for GST, TDS, and Professional Tax (PT).

Labour Law Support: Work with the HR/Finance team to consolidate data required for
monthly labour law compliances, including Provident Fund (PF) and Employee State

Insurance (ESI).

Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR): Process incoming invoices, manage vendor
payments, deduct appropriate TDS where applicable, and track accounts receivable for

timely collections.

Data Entry & Ledger Maintenance: Accurately enter daily financial transactions into
the accounting system and maintain the general ledger.

Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations, vendor ledger reconciliations, and
assist in reconciling corporate credit card statements.

Month-End Close: Assist the senior finance team with month-end and year-end closing
processes.

Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring
compliance with company policies.

Audit Support: Gather documentation, invoices, and challans to provide support during
internal/external audits and tax preparation.

Filing & Documentation: Maintain highly organized physical and digital records of all
financial and compliance-related documents.


Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com), or a related
field.

Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role
(internship or article-ship experience is highly valued).

Technical Skills: * Basic working knowledge of Indian taxation laws (GST, TDS) and
general statutory compliances (PT, PF, ESI).

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel (VLOOKUP,
Pivot Tables, basic formulas).

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime, QuickBooks, Zoho
Books, or similar ERP systems).


Soft Skills:
High level of accuracy and extreme attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with integrity.
